About The Role

JumpCrew is hiring a Director of Finance in our Nashville office. This is an exceptional hands-on opportunity to help lead a company and continuously improve processes and infrastructure to sustain double-digit revenue and earnings growth. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer. To support fast-paced, detailed, and nuanced discussions this position is generally in-office.

What You'll Do

  • Provide analytical support to the business. This includes corporate forecasts and budgets, reporting, ad hoc modeling, and extensive analytics and metrics of operational staff and customers.
  • Drive and review weekly, monthly and quarterly deliverables to the Executive and Sales Leadership Teams.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends, and analyzing the root causes of variances to deliver valuable insight and recommendations. Continuously adapt and improve metrics and analysis to support new business initiatives in a high-growth environment.
  • Design and execute scenario analysis on company performance to help drive solid financial decisions that optimize the business and support investment decisions.
  • Provide efficient, accurate, and cost-effective processing and reporting of all financial transactions through the Corporate Controller's organization. This includes classification of operating expenses, reviewing vendor contracts, and managing payables; categorization and recognition of revenue, reviewing customer contracts, and managing accounts receivables; evaluating capital development projects, determining asset values and depreciation; cash, debt, reviewing loan agreements, forecasting and company liquidity; and Partner Investment amounts and the cap table.
  • Simplify, streamline, and automate FP&A processes and make full use of forecasting and financial system capabilities that will allow us to continue to scale rapidly.
  • Be continuously vigilant on spending. Identify and implement opportunities to reduce cost and increase business operating leverage as it scales.
  • Advise on and maintain Company comp plans including salary levels, increases, commissions, bonuses, and stock options.
  • Ensure the timely completion of the Company's tax returns, distribution of Partner K-1s, and communication with lenders and investors.
  • Hire, motivate, and develop a high-performing Finance team with a culture of grit, urgency, community, and gratitude.

Your Background

  • 8+ years of related work experience in a finance position, preferably in a SaaS or subscription model business.
  • 3+ years of management experience inspiring, developing, and retaining a high-performing team. Experience leading a finance function is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another quantitative field.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel required, including complex nested functions, lookups, pivot tables, and modeling. Experience with macros & VBA are a strong plus.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal across all levels of the company.
  • Experience forecasting headcount and compensation (salary and commission).
  • Experience with forecasting.
  • Experience in a high-growth organization a plus
