Director of Finance

We are currently looking for an experienced Finance Professional to join the executive team at Bitcoin.com. We are at an unprecedented rate of growth, with a unique set of challenges to assess our treasury and future capital plans. If you are a dynamic, organized self-starter with a keen eye for analyzing financial health across functions and a passion to drive process improvements, this is the role for you. You will support a wide range of initiatives from optimizing pricing for new / existing customers, support introduction of new services, provide your input into business strategy, evaluate potential M&A activities, etc.

You will:

• Lead all financial planning (budgeting, forecasting etc.) activities for Bitcoin.com, and work closely with cross-functional teams to produce accurate reports.
• Modelling and ad-hoc analysis required to assess the future performance of the business and direction taken
• Establish clear financial baselines to quantify results in relation to market growth and industry-wide trends
• Driving optimal decision making through extensive financial and quantitative analysis, including P&L, cash flow, etc. and managing reviews to track and update progress against the plan
• Consult stakeholders and provide strategic insight into risks and opportunities
• Managing and mentoring a growing staff of finance professionals across our network, leading the team and guiding team member career development
• Championing technology and automation improvements for the finance function, including participating in the implementation of new operational tools

Requirements

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Management Consulting, or a related highly-analytic field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Japanese is a plus but not a necessity
• Strong PC modeling skills including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Understanding of finance issues in an operational environment of rapid growth and unique treasury organization consisting majority cryptocurrency
• Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable priorities
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
• Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
• Genuine interest in and curiosity about Marketing, Cryptocurrency and FinTech
• A passion for Bitcoin.com and our mission
