Audicus is a health-tech company based in New York City. We are changing the hearing aid industry with a leading telehealth solution that streamlines the hearing care experience from user testing to product delivery - both for consumers and providers. THE ROLE

We are looking for a mission-driven, Director of Finance to join the Audicus team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization. This person will take over Audicus’ accounting function, help create efficiencies and long term financial planning. They will also have an opportunity to support the fundraising process. The Director of Finance will report directly to the CEO with dotted lines to the Head of Operations and COO. This is an incredible role to grow into as you’ll work very closely with senior leadership and eventually build and lead a finance team.


   

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Own Audicus’ accounting function - driving strategic and future-state planning
  • Set up systems and reporting tools including (but not limited to):invoicing, inventory and vendor management, accounting with support from implementation experts 
  • Support CEO and COO with budgeting, financial planning and fundraising
  • Design and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with department heads to provide ongoing financial support and guidance
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings; maintains a thorough understanding of rules and regulations that may impact the business
  • Ability to lead and grow a team


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 4-7 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
  • 2-3 years at a major accounting firm
  • 2-4 years in a finance function at early-stage technology ventures, ideally venture-backed, with a successful track record of establishing, managing and improving accounting policies and procedures
  • CPA degree
  • Experience with implementation or optimization of Financial Systems
  • Highly metrics-driven, with ability to harness insights from analytics in order to drive efficiencies
  • Mission-driven, even-keeled, fun team player
  • Ability to work cross functionally and present financial data in a digestible format
  • Creative problem solver

Salary : 

Base: $150-170K + annual bonus
