Position Specific Description

Corporate Development leads transactions for the world's largest electric utility and world leader in renewable energy - NextEra Energy, and works on corporate strategy presentations for executive leadership in conjunction with the subject matter experts around the company. In this position you will coordinate internal financial analysis and diligence.

Job Overview

Leaders in this role are responsible for financing of company projects through capital markets, banking, and private placement markets. Oversees a team that identifies and conducts complex analyses of financial impacts of issues and/or decisions facing the company and proposes strategies to maximize financial performance of company.

Job Duties & Responsibilities• Develops and executes departments strategy• Makes key decisions that effect processes and policies• Oversees and controls budget and forecasting decisions• Directs the execution of financial programs• Oversees and directs contract program objectives and utilization of funds• Develops, coaches and mentors team members• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree• Experience: 10+ years• Supervisor/Management Experience: 5+ years

Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor's - Accounting / Finance• Master's Degree
