Job Summary:
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will oversee a team that develops business insights to drive decision making. This includes leading modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support strategic goals and drive results. This is a highly collaborative, cross-functional, and visible role and an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing start-up. Â
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic financial planning processes
- Analyze performance to plan/forecast and recommend actions to ensure targets are met
- Develop financial models, forecasts, proposals, presentations and performance measures to provide confidence regarding business decisions
- Engage cross-functionally to develop collaborative solutions to business problems and strengthen integration of Finance with Marketing, Product, and OperationsÂ
- Develop and manage KPIs to guide strategic direction of the company
- Prepare monthly financial reports and analyses that drive business insights
- Support organizational leaders on ad hoc strategy and financial analyses
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in a high-growth environmentÂ
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Adept, practical knowledge of GAAP accounting
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite; advanced Excel skills
- A passion for generating insights from creative, detail-oriented financial analysis
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- An entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable with ambiguity
- Great attitude, passion for excellence, and willingness to help wherever needed
- Ability to be onsite in LA on a hybrid basis
Preferred:
- Experience working at a Fortune 500 company
- eCommerce experience
- NetSuite familiarityÂ
Compensation:
- $160,000-$172,000Â per year
- Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company wide 401K plan
- Annual bonus percentage is dependent on level of role
