We are excited to add a Director of Global Benefits, HR Compliance and Mobility to our growing People team. A successful candidate will love the challenge of building a differentiated scalable benefits portfolio that supports the health, wealth and wellbeing of our growing employee population. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The following represents FBN's reasonable estimate of the US national average base salary range of possible compensation for this role based on market data and placement of internal employees: $140,000 - $195,000, plus bonuses.
This salary range may vary based on geography and variations in cost of labor. Beyond the above or adjusted to market salary range, FBN also offers all full-time employees competitive equity compensation, health and wellness benefits, and various perks.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage FBN's global benefits program strategy, taking into consideration our culture, workforce needs and market-competitive norms.
- Evolve and balance FBN's benefits and wellness portfolio to support the organization's global employee base and their diverse needs through rapid growth.
- Develop and manage HR Compliance function ensuring all federal, state and local reporting requirements are met
- Manage global mobility policy, enablement and service support
- Maintain a pulse on benefits industry innovations, competitive market and shifting compliance requirements ensuring FBN is a market leader and employer of choice with a heavy focus on financial wellness.
- Manage day-to-day administration of our health, welfare, wellbeing, leave, time off and financial wellness programs. (FBN health benefits are currently fully insured with outsourced administration through Sequoia).
- Provide leadership, tools and ongoing education to People Operations team members servicing tier 0 and 1 employee benefits questions, recruiters, HRBPs, managers and employees.
- Ensure new hires and employees understand the value of our benefit programs
- Ensure that our remote employees in rural locations have equal and easy access to service providers.
- Identify and manage working relationships with benefit plan providers, vendors, auditors and consultants, ensuring quality delivery.
- Collaborate with the People Systems and Payroll teams on benefit plan changes that require changes to our Workday benefits application and payroll deductions.
- Ensure all audit and regulatory processes for benefit plans are managed effectively and that our plans are compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Ensure all benefit program documentation and notices are updated and distributed.
- Provide benefits program expertise and leadership for global expansion, acquisition diligence and integration.
- Participate in other cross-functional projects and initiatives, as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 7 years of benefits related experience.
- Progressive benefits experience; including design, development, vendor evaluation, implementation and change management.
- Knowledge of global benefits norms and standards; as well as experience with large scale warehouse/logistics/transportation organizations highly preferred.
- Experience transitioning to self insured medical, dental and vision.
- High learning agility including the ability to deal well and thrive in complexity and ambiguity.
- Strong leadership capabilities and proven as a dynamic HR People partner.
- Experience working for a global company, where success requires leading through matrix structures and where building relationships to influence things outside your direct control is essential.
- Demonstrated large scale project management experience.
- Systems thinking skills and ability to develop solutions in the context of big picture long-term objectives.
- Strong spreadsheet skills, data analysis and visualization skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including ability to convey complex concepts in presentation materials and in delivering presentations to all audiences.
- Experience with Workday Benefits, Time and Attendance modules.
- Post pandemic this position can remain remote (US) or can work onsite in our Chicago IL, San Carlos CA or Sioux Falls SD offices.
