Summary

The Director of Global Finance Solutions leads a team instrumental in defining, designing, and delivering finance solutions that enable the Company's global finance function. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, process, and technology.

The Director of Global Finance Solutions is responsible for the management of finance solutions which includes the financial aspects of the Company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other complimentary finance systems to ensure alignment of people, processes and technologies. In addition to supporting the Company's ERP project, this role will provide insight and guidance to other global finance initiatives. These initiatives will include the Central Finance Project which will be supported by the Global Finance Solution's Team. All finance functions are supported including the Controllership, Treasury, Enterprise Solutions, Tax and Financial Planning and Analysis.

Leadership and the ability to manage without authority are key competencies of this position. The ability to collaborate with stakeholders and manage change will be critical for success. The desired objective is to ensure the Company has fit-for purpose processes in place to record, process and present accurate financial data which supports informed decision making and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end process design for all record to report (R2R) process areas
• Lead a team of 6-7 R2R process leads focused on the delivery and optimization of the Company's ERP and complementary finance systems
• Provide leadership and oversight of the design and delivery of global finance projects
• Serve as the Finance Lead for the Company's ERP implementation and participate on the ERP Project Leadership Team
• Partner with necessary business leads and stakeholders to ensure cross functional collaboration on design and process
• Partner with IT to ensure technology and process design support stakeholder needs
• Assign team resources to global finance projects approved by Global Finance Leadership
• Establish and maintain a Finance Systems roadmap and governance structure
• Update stakeholders on opportunities from new technologies and/or leading practices
• Engage with Finance Stakeholders to achieve global finance strategic initiatives
• Develop value plans with key metrics to measure value for specific projects

Typical Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from 4-year College or University. CPA or MBA is desirable.

Relevant Experience

• 10+ years accounting/finance experience. Preferably with most years in a leadership position.
• Leading global teams through change, stakeholder management and the ability to influence.
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed. Adheres to all standards, policies, and systems as appropriate.
• Prior experience engaging with senior management (includes presenting materials)
• Previous SAP/ERP implementation (or largescale IT project) experience is desirable
• Broad understanding of finance systems and processes
