Planet DDS is the leading provider of cloud-enabled dental software solutions serving over 10,000 practices in North America with over 60,000 users. The company delivers a complete platform of solutions for dental practices including Denticon Practice Management, Apteryx XVWeb Digital Imaging, Cloud 9 Practice Management (for Orthodontist practices) and Legwork Patient Relationship Management. Planet DDS is committed to creating value for its dental practice clients by solving the most urgent challenges facing todayβs dental practices in North America.
We're looking for a Director of Growth with previous B2B SaaS experience to join our amazing marketing team. Reporting to VP of Marketing, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and optimizing marketing initiatives that will drive acquisition, conversion, expansion, and retention including new customer acquisition, cross selling to existing customers, field, and account-based marketing.
You will bring a deep expertise scaling and growing the demand generation function in the marketing team for all our products across multiple market segments. You will be responsible to lead, motivate and mentor a growth team that contributes significantly to our mission and targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute campaigns and programs to support revenue and growth objectives including new client acquisition as well as current client cross sell and upsell opportunities.
- Utilize every possible marketing effort/tool to drive growth, including but not limited to SEM, SEO, paid social, conversion rate optimization, content syndication, 3rd party programs, webinars, and podcasts.
- Manage outside vendors that contribute to demand creation programs including direct marketing/media agencies, search engine optimization (SEO) experts, and digital agencies.
- Oversee a high-performing growth team, focusing on professional growth of individuals within the team to deliver high performing results.
- Attract and hire high performing individuals.
- Oversee a growth marketing budget for performance and media buys, and work to drive acquisition and retention efficiency.
- Work cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders and articulate growth marketing goals and regularly report on performance, metrics, and key results.
- Collaborate with the Brand, Marketing Operations, Events and Product Marketing teams to produce engaging campaigns that generate awareness, shifts perceptions, and captures demand.
- Devise campaign strategies to cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and strategic partners.
- Implement Account Based Marketing.
- Monitor growth-related marketing technology stack and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing, managing multi-functional roles, such as web, digital, growth marketing, paid advertising, with at least 2 years at a senior level.
- Demonstrated success in scaling and growing demand generation programs that have resulted in significant business growth.
- Experience working at a high-growth multi-product SaaS company, managing campaigns from inception through business outcomes, revenue and ROI reporting.
- Experience with strategy, development, and execution of GTM and product launch/update/sunset strategies.
- Advanced understanding of marketing program management tools, processes, and reporting, including hands-on experience working with Google Analytics, Marketo, Salesforce, and Bizible.
- Ability to manage a budget, allocation, and reallocation to achieve strategic goals.
- Proficiency in email marketing and a possess a clear understanding of the role of technology and marketing operations in the demand generation function.
- Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making capabilities, including attribution modelling and performance tracking across channels, campaigns, and overall demand generation.
- Aligns closely with sales teams to ensure that marketing and demand generation efforts are targeted, measurable, and support the entire sales cycle.
