Outbrain is seeking a highly-motivated and passionate Growth Director to accelerate our growing activities in Video and Programmatic Supply. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships at multiple levels across top Publisher Groups. In partnership with our global commercial and strategy leadership, you’ll drive growth for Video and Programmatic Supply to support full funnel solutions on the demand side. You will work closely with the Head of Business Development and Account Management in Americas region and report directly to the Global Head of Programmatic & Video Supply.


 A day in the life

  • Responsible for opening up eligible Supply & for Brand & Enterprise products (Smartvideo, Outstream, Spotlight, e.g.) 
  • Supports local Publisher teams with new products as VIDEO, Header Bidding and non-traditional buying methods (e.g. IO buying)
  • FAQs 
  • Pre-Sales discussions (evaluation of potential opportunities, sales approach)
  • Supporting with objection handling
  • Supporting with the preparation of proposals (Sanity checks of business models and commercial terms)
  • Sales Pitch
  • Supporting with Video/HB related contractual legal processes
  • Integration process (e.g. Player Setup or technical integration discussions in HB)
  • After launch monitoring and troubleshooting 
  • Individual trainings / new onboardings
  • Interface between the local markets, PM, Product and ad operations
  • Close monitoring of Video/Header Bidding revenues and identification of opportunities together with the Head of Pub BD & PM
  • Ensure Market observations are included in your work
  • Input for optimisation of internal processes, business approach, sales pitch, legal terms. 


What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Ad-tech/Mar-tech
  • At least 1 year of Hands-On experience with Programmatic Technologies in place, such as RTB, DSPs, SSPs, and DMPs 
  • Deep understanding in programmatic and video supply 
  • High energy, positive attitude, adaptable, team player
  • Experience & ability to manage multiple projects and to balance competing objectives; the ability to define and deliver on expectations and balance customer needs with business priorities
  • Proven success working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships internally and externally

The base pay range for this position is TBD in addition to a competitive commission package. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to salary, you may be eligible for an equity package, as well as our benefits and perks to support you and your family as part of Outbrain’s total rewards package.


The annual base pay range for this position is $120,000.00-$150,000.00 not including on target earnings. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to salary, you may be eligible for an equity package, as well as our competitive benefits and perks to support you and your family as part of Outbrain's total rewards package.
