Job Summary: 

As the Growth Strategy Director / Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in defining and accelerating Ruggable’s path to grow. You’re somebody who loves data-driven decision making, quantitative problem solving, performance management and cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you will work with Product, Design and our Marketing Center of Excellence to size, prioritize and evaluate the success of growth opportunities (e.g., new products, designs / collections, acquisition and retention strategies, sales, pricing, partnerships). 

As a member of the Strategy & Business Operations (BizOps) function, you will drive focused prioritization, faster decision making, actionable and insightful metrics, and rapid test and learn interaction. Day-to-day, you will build the Growth Strategy team from the ground up, developing capabilities in strategic analysis, business case development, analytics, customer insights and financial modeling. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Opportunity identification and evaluation
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities
    • Develop quantitative and qualitative frameworks and methodologies to size and evaluate growth levers 
  • Customer insights
    • Utilize customer segmentation data to analyze existing and potential customers
    • Develop customer targeting strategies to expand customer base
    • Partner with the Marketing Center of Excellence  to improve existing customer retention and lifetime value (LTV)
  • Holistic strategy and roadmap creation
    • Co-create Ruggable’s iterative growth strategy roadmap based on opportunity evaluation and prioritization 
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to build consensus and mobilize towards execution
    • Craft key presentation materials and use storytelling to persuasively communicate roadmap and recommendations 
  • Performance management 
    • Create and implement actionable metrics to measure success of growth initiatives 
    • Proactively adapt approach and prioritization based on performance and root cause analysis 
  • Define long-term Growth Strategy team vision and operating model with cross-functional teams
  • Lead high-impact projects that require heavy analytical support and cross-functional implementation 

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

  • Experience managing a team in consulting, strategy, business operations, analytics, marketing or equivalent function
  • Ability to lead multi-faceted strategy efforts with minimal guidance
  • Experience setting strategy and influencing with cross-functional teams, but also a willingness to jump in personally to do the work 
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional presentation and verbal/written communication skills
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working at a high-growth company
Compensation:
  • $150,000-$180,000 per year
  • Annual bonus percentage is dependent on level of role
