How you'll make an impact
As our Director of Healthcare Systems Partnerships you will lead SonderMind in becoming the partner of choice for the healthcare delivery system. You are motivated by achieving personal and team goals, as well as, building high-performing teams. You will lead, coach, and manage a team of Partnership Managers to meet and exceed their goals, as they retain, nurture , and grow our healthcare partnership accounts. You will also provide superior account management to high profile partners driven by utilizing your deep healthcare experience , understanding needs of our partners , and defining creative solutions to meet those needs. You will work cross functionally to develop processes and efficiencies that deliver enhanced value to our partners. You have proven experience in building and scaling an account management function that adds value to the business and our partners.
Success looks like
- In 3 months, understand current tactics being deployed within each local geography and take over day to day ownership and accountability for team results. Own regular reporting meetings and define incentive plans to be implemented to reward successes accordingly
- In 6-9 months, build scaled national function including salesforce infrastructure and market-level strategies and tactics, and close collaboration with Care Coordination, Marketing and Product in order to deliver 20%+ of SonderMind new active clients monthly
- In 12+ months, expand to additional sites of care and manage multiple enterprise partnerships, delivering 50%+ of SonderMind new active clients monthly and ensuring high quality outcomes and innovative partnerships are sustained and managed nationally
What you'll do
- Lead, develop, and train a high-performing Partnership Management team to drive growth and retention of existing healthcare system partners across SonderMind's markets.
- Define and manage the account management funnel inclusive of warm leads converted, accounts managed, volume generated, and additional opportunities created
- Develop, implement, and measure individual and team activity metrics that align with monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.. Build a meaningful incentive plan that aligns to team and company goals
- Build, implement, and optimize account management infrastructure and processes utilizing Salesforce that increases referral volume from our healthcare partners
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Care Coordination and Product, on optimizing our service delivery process to ensure high standards of care are being delivered , issues are being resolved, and ultimately clients are getting to care within SonderMind
- Define and execute on market-level strategies in partnership with Finance, Marketing, Strategy, and Operations teams
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with both existing and new partners that provide the best potential for future business growth
- Partner with Strategy, Operations and Product on offerings and playbook to high profiler partners, new sites of care, and other innovative approaches to deepen SonderMind's impact and outcomes in each geography
- Be accountable for account management messaging and training, adherence to SonderMind compliance standards
What you'll bring with you
Required Experience
- Experience building and leading a national account management team and account management infrastructure in healthcare
- Experience in defining targets and growth metrics (and meeting and exceeding those), and aligning incentive plans to meet those targets consistently
- Experience in cultivating executive-level relationships in healthcare and executing/managing innovative, meaningful partnerships
- Experience in managing and building account relationships on key accounts to maximize mutual impact
- Proven ability in growing existing accounts organically, leveraging relationships
- Proven success in managing team performance, providing training and coaching where needed, and removing blockers to achieve goals
Preferred Experience
- MBA/MPH/MHA or other relevant experience

Our Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role is $130,000- $160,000. This role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and bonus plan. Actual title and compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
