OBJECTIVE

The Director of Human Resources stewards our workplace culture alongside the broader Passion leadership team. Coaches, educates, encourages, and leads others in a manner consistent with our core values. Acts as a strategic asset and liaison to the leadership team, and as the HR operational leader for our organization, including providing and leading the day-to-day HR support. A positive, team-oriented, kingdom-minded individual who models initiative, service, and accuracy as they play a pivotal role on the team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads human resources team which spans all functional areas including: Strategic HR, Team and Leadership Development, Compliance, Benefits, and Payroll
  • Proactively strengthens culture via core values-based, inspirational initiatives that span the entire team member life cycle (recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, development, performance feedback, recognition, and offboarding)
  • Monitors team health and leads initiatives to ensure the team is as strong as possible
  • Assess skill gaps and execute targeted leadership and technical training to develop needed skills
  • Directs the development and implementation of team member orientation, benefits plans, policies and guidelines, database management procedures, employee records and documentation policies, and other human resources elements
  • Oversees and ensures compliance with applicable payroll, benefits, and human resources and all relevant federal and state regulations, as well as advising department managers on HR issues
  • Provides oversight and supervision to HR/Payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial and administrative functions (for example, tax and payroll forms, benefits, and compensation transactions, etc.)
  • Partners externally with benefits brokers to proactively and strategically evaluate and evolve the Passion benefits strategy
  • Benchmarks and oversees the process of performance reviews, compensation, and promotional decisions
  • Maintain highest level of confidentiality of all financial and personnel information
  • Provide Passion leadership team with a quarterly updates and annual roadmap of progress on Leadership’s goals for team

AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL

Bachelor’s degree required. 7+ years of Human Resources team leadership experience. Thorough understanding of the culture of the Passion teams. Strong verbal and written skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to establish strong professional relationships with peers, employees, and vendors.
