Title: Director of Solutions Engineering

About the job:

We’re a leading provider of innovative donation platform for global Nonprofit organizations, and we are seeking a Director of Solutions Engineering to lead our team of Solutions Engineers.

You will work closely with our sales, customer success, and product teams to ensure successful and timely implementations and drive revenue growth for our organization. As a Director of Solutions Engineering, you will lead a team of Solutions Engineers accountable for Onboarding and Presales activities. This includes software demonstrations, responding to RFPs, creating proposals on technical problems, setup and implementation, integrating our platform with CRMs, and creating customized solutions for clients. Additionally, project managing the onboarding process, conducting A/B Tests and providing best practices to help the client generate more revenue.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers.
• Oversee presales and onboarding activities, ensuring successful implementations and customer satisfaction for large complex projects.
• Work closely with sales and customer success teams to develop strategies to drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product development.
• Coach and mentor team members, providing guidance on technical and consultative skills and managing them through mentoring and coaching.
• Work closely with other leaders in the company, such as Customer Success Management, Sales, Product and Leadership, to ensure alignment and successful execution of projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders, including C-level executives.
• Continuously improve the presales and onboarding process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and track metrics to measure the success of the Solutions Engineering team.
• Build a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
• Represent the Solutions Engineering team in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.
• Ability to manage high-stress situations and work under pressure to deliver results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical sales, or a related field at SAAS companies
• 5+ years of experience managing a Solutions Engineers team and overseeing complex enterprise implementations.
• Strong technical skills, with experience in web infrastructure, web analytics, and data management.
• CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot, and other_ Integration experience
• Experience with front-end website development (HTML/CSS).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hyper-growth and dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to solve complex technical problems creatively.
• Experience in the nonprofit or eCommerce industry is a plus.
• Experience working with International (preferably Eastern European) product and back-end teams is a plus.
