The Role

As the Director of Infrastructure and Security you will help guide our organization's infrastructure and security strategy and implementation. You will be responsible for leading the team that supports the implementation and maintenance of our infrastructure and security systems. You will oversee the organization's security posture and work to ensure that all infrastructure is secure, reliable, and available.

What You Will Do

• Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to the infrastructure team, promoting a collaborative and high-performing culture. Foster professional growth and development within the team. Provide leadership and advice to engineering and other Bloomerang teams on all aspects of information security and compliance.

• Responsible for managing infrastructure strategies including infrastructure continuous improvement, infrastructure automation (IaC), monitoring, incident resolution & problem management.

• Provide input and support with Bloomerang’s security strategy, including risk management, compliance, and incident response. Continuously evaluate and refine the strategy to ensure the security posture is strong and resilient.

• Participate in the organization’s compliance program by maintaining existing policies, procedures, and controls.  This includes internal controls monitoring, risk assessments, pen tests, etc. and assisting with independent 3rd party assessments including SOC 2, GDRP and PCI-DSS.  Work with other leaders to respond to customer inquiries regarding Bloomerang’s security program and assist in evaluating new compliance standards with go-to-market teams.

• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration between infrastructure, security, and other teams involved in the organization's operations. Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing to drive alignment and achieve shared goals.

What You Need to Succeed

• Proven experience as a Director of Infrastructure and Security or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully implementing infrastructure and security practices and driving organizational change.

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure and security methodologies, tools, and best practices, including cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), risk management, and compliance.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

• Strong working knowledge of privacy regulations and practices is a plus.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is: $212,500 - $287,500. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.

Location

This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
