Your Role:

As the Director of Information Technology, you will be responsible for Faraday Future’s (FF) overall Global strategy, planning, and execution of all IT functions across the company. You will manage the IT team, which is responsible for the strategic deployment, ownership, and service across a wide variety of systems & tools, including employee onboarding, hardware/software provisioning, license management, and the helpdesk.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the Global vision, strategy, and direction of Information Technology function.
  • Collaborates with executive team to determine the enterprise’s long-term application roadmap.
  • Develop the corresponding strategy for systems design and development.
  • Built IT roadmap and direct ERP system digital transformation and business process reengineering initiatives.
  • Directs, regular departmental meetings to explain strategic goals and initiatives, and promote team building and work to provide growth paths for staff.
  • Oversees design, estimation, and execution of project work plans. Direct revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Design and develop an effective business intelligence platform to ensure the right information is accessible to the right people, at the right time.
  • Implement a robust Business Continuity strategy and ensure systems can meet capacity requirements and Service Level Agreements, including Availability, Return to Operations (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
  • Define and execute a long-term cyber security strategy, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all IT & data assets.
  • Drives technology transformation to ensure that all solutions are aligned with business objectives.
  • Builds, develops, and manages a team capable of carrying out needed architectural initiatives.
  • Ensures that divisional IT capabilities are fully responsive to company needs.
  • Develop reliable metrics for hardware, software & storage.
  • Manages department employees but also involved with day-to-day hands-on work.
  • Works with internal and external customers to ensure continuous customer satisfaction.
  • Creates a positive, collaborative, teamwork environment based on the company culture and values.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of Global experience in the IT field with 7+ years in a leadership/management position
  • Automotive Experience (OEM, Supplier, Aftersales) 
  • SAP Implementation experience 
  • Top-notch partner negotiation and contract development skills for vendors, suppliers, partners, service providers, and government/regulatory agencies
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, with an automotive OEM
  • Experience working in a start up environment and building an IT organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science minimum; Master's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in automotive service, service engineering, dealership operations, and network development fields
  • Proven knowledge and expertise in developing and operating OEM after sales service programs
  • Proven experience in leading large ERP digital transformations in automotive industry that include business process reengineering
  • Strong familiarity with start-up environment, automotive service operations, EV specific service, quality engineering, field service operations, N.A. government reporting requirements, and EV Charging Programs (in-car, home, & public)

Annual Salary Range:

($160K - $220K DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
