Director of Infrastructure

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall performance, security, and availability of the Firm’s network and infrastructure.
• Responsible for implementing secure network and infrastructure solutions.
• Responsible for remediating security vulnerabilities discovered in infrastructure.
• Assesses the Firm’s current and future network and infrastructure needs.
• Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all IT systems, including servers, virtual desktops, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications, and peripherals.
• Provide expertise and support during system upgrades, installations, conversions, and security patching.
• Oversee system development, enhancement, and integration of new systems with existing systems.
• Work and communicate frequently with the CIO to develop strategies and plans to enhance client services, improve user effectiveness, and foster innovation.
• Manage and develop IT staff to meet the changing needs of the firm’s technology.
• Collaborate with the CIO to develop and implement IT policies and procedures, standard operating procedures, and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT staff and users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including experience in a multi-office environment preferred.
• Experience working in a law firm environment required
