ixlayer is looking for a motivated Director of Inside Sales to both lead and execute on connecting with potential clients in our ixlayer network to drive pipeline and leads for the Business Development team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Lead pipeline generation and prospecting strategy for large enterprise sales opportunities
- Identify and contact multiple buyers at potential enterprise clients through extensive client research and buyer mapping
- Develop inside sales methodologies and best practice to drive consistent performance
- Digitally source new sales opportunities through multi-platform outreach
- Contact warm leads through utilizing ixlayer’s network through outbound calls/emails to potential customers
- Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
- Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customersUnderstand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate business development executives for further development and closure
- Work with varying digital tools to meet the potential customersÂ
- Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership
- Staying informed about competing products and services
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Must have at least 7+ years of previous experience in sales, business development and/or a related field
- Achieved Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, economics, or related field
- Experience in software or SaaS sales in a fast-paced technical environment
- Ability to develop inside sales best methodologies and incorporate best practices
- Proven track record of inside sales experience and over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Experience working with CRM tools and digital sales tools for efficient outbound prospecting
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Display strong leadership, organizational and execution skills
- Team player who works collaboratively across functions
- Experience in the health and or health-tech industry is a plus
