Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Director of Inside Sales to join our team in North America. The role will report to the North America VP of Sales.
Job Description: The Director of Inside Sales is responsible for leading and managing the North America inside sales team, sales development representatives, inside channel account managers, and installed base operations, including renewals and customer success management.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in sales leadership and inside sales management, as well as a deep understanding of the SMB and low-end of mid-market customer segments.
Experience in cybersecurity or networking is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the inside sales team, including inside territory account managers, sales development representatives, inside channel account managers, and installed base operations (renewals).
- Lead a group of five managers, responsible for the different inside sales groups.
- Lead the inside channel account team, whose focus is to develop and maintain strong partnerships with selected value-added resellers to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed the company's revenue targets for the SMB and low-end of mid-market customer segments. Expand best practices across the inside sales org.
- Regularly review and optimize the inside sales team's processes and operations to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience.
- Leverage data and metrics to track progress, measure success, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure the inside sales team is fully trained and equipped to sell Bitdefender's products and services effectively, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Manage and optimize the sales pipeline, from creation to closing, including lead generation, lead qualification, and lead nurturing.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective marketing campaigns, and track their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the field channel team and pre-sales organization.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and metrics, and use data to inform decision-making and improve sales processes and outcomes.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance, forecast, and pipeline management. Manages proper and accurate sales forecasting associated with the business.
- Retaining the best talent and reinforce the team with hiring a-players. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in sales leadership and inside sales management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Experience working with SMB and low-end of mid-market customers, in organizations selling via channel partners
- Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to analyze data and leverage insights to improve sales processes and outcomes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field.
