About the role
The mission of this role is to help lead marketing strategy and campaigns to raise Roktās awareness and brand attributes in supporting growth in international markets. With the support of Roktās regional marketing leads, the Director of International Marketing will be responsible for delivering consistent, on-brand marketing campaigns to reach clients and prospects in key international markets (EMEA and JAPAC).
Rokt is looking for a strategic, collaborative, and proactive marketing leader to help develop a cohesive marketing plan that unifies marketing activities by working closely with the marketing team at Rokt headquarters in NYC and translating (and localizing) these programs into the international markets . Impeccable communication skills is a must for this role along with strong project management skills, being detail oriented, deadline driven with a creative mind. This candidate will be Roktās international marketing expert, with a focus on leveraging domestic expertise to grow Roktās brand health globally and increase consideration of Roktās products.
Responsibilities
The success of this role will be measured by the overall positive representation of the Rokt brand in international markets with direct correlations to desired business outcomes through effective brand story-telling activities to ensure that any touchpoint with Rokt is consistent across regions.
- Oversee brand management, regional customization opportunities, and working with our marketing team at HQ to launch all brand campaigns worldwide
- Ensure that Roktās various brand campaigns travel seamlessly across markets with custom, culturally relevant elements that resonate deeply in market
- Develop innovative and impactful marketing campaigns inclusive of public relations, events, gifting, content/thought leadership, etc. that effectively reach our target audiences, considering regional nuances and findings
- Create a calendar of activations that includes key events and an always āonā element so that Rokt remains highly visible and relevant to key target audience
- Translate brand strategies into campaign and project briefs that encourage and inform cross-functional collaboration
- Facilitate a team environment, coaching the international brand team, and working closely with others to cultivate collaboration across markets
- Oversee the production and distribution of all marketing materials from regions to the US and vice-versa
- Chart the course for brand strategy and execution while being accountable for international regional marketing performance
- Collaborate with U.S. marketing leaders to report quarterly on regional marketing campaigns to provide a clear picture of overall global marketing performance for Roktās executive team
- Manage priorities, develop effective processes, and partner with leaders across all levels to drive cross-functional marketing initiatives
- Allocate resources and manage deadlines to ensure marketing campaigns are executed on time and within budget
- Lead a team of regional marketing managers in London (EMEA), Sydney (AUS/NZ), and Tokyo (Japan) to execute top-knotch marketing campaigns
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in brand marketing with an international focus
- Demonstrates superior organizational and communication skills with a technical expertise in event planning
- Portray a keen interest and ability to push the boundaries in brand marketing by constantly looking for opportunities to improve deliverables, experiences, and desired outcomes
- Proven success in managing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously while working with tight deadlines
- Possess exceptional leadership skills, being able to move and inspire a cross-functional team and guide it towards a unified objective and with a unified vision
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to motivated and foster talent
- Some travel may be required

Salary Range: $170,000 - $212,500 /year
