About this Opportunity
Pacaso is seeking a customer-obsessed marketer to lead the company’s Lifecycle and Cross functional customer journey strategy. This role will own the vision, prioritization and execution of high impact multi-channel lifecycle marketing initiatives. This individual should be confident in their skills to optimize existing programs as well as have an infinite mindset to drive long term program success.
The Director, Lifecycle Marketing will work closely with our product, sales and content teams to conceptualize and execute on creating an optimal customer journey designed to drive maximum engagement with the sales funnel and overarching brand experience. This individual will be successful if they are results driven, understand the customer journey, pain points, and if they can discover the best content to deliver to the customer at the right time to increase conversion. The optimal candidate is an innovative self-starter, impactful in sales-driven organizations and has an appetite for long term program development and team development.
What you’ll do
- Lead a team of Lifecycle and Content marketers to deliver engaging programs across user personas and champion a best in class lifecycle strategy across the business
- Design a strategy to effectively move customers throughout the various stages of their second-home journey, focused on designing, innovating and executing always-on marketing to deliver growth to the business for a product that has a long consideration cycle
- Lead the Marketing Technology strategy dedicated to nurturing a large cohort of Pacaso users through email, push notifications, SMS
- Lead content strategy, content calendar, and core themes incorporating key messages relevant to the various stages of the customer journey for both on site and outbound channels.
- Partner closely with Product teams, Revenue Teams, Ops and Analytics
- Lead an agile, high-performance, data-driven team responsible for core business KPIs
- Innovating to enhance consumer experience and communication strategy
- Define quarterly and annual strategies and goals for the Lifecycle vertical and lead day to day prioritization for high impact initiatives
- Ensure the right mix of new initiatives and optimization to improve program performance, defining benchmarks and following a data-informed experiment process
- Work with cross functional stakeholders to define highest priority initiatives, and lead roadmap discussions to ensure prioritization of initiatives impacting the customer journey and lifecycle team
- Partner with Data Science to define and refine customer journey stages and optimal conversion strategies
- Establish customer-centric KPIs, clear goals and an operating model that delivers against performance goals
- Foster a supportive team environment helping remove roadblocks and enabling team member professional development
- Deliver well organized performance read-outs including results, insights, & learnings
- Plan, build, and execute marketing campaigns as needed to support high priority initiatives
You'll be a great fit if you have
- 10+ years of relevant customer marketing and lifecycle experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent
- Success navigating autonomous,agile, and fast-paced environments
- Passion for innovating with AI, and a POV on how AI impacts lifecycle strategy
- An understanding and passion for recognizing emerging trends, creative excellence, and new technologies
- A proven track record of leading a high performance cross-functional team in a multi-matrixed environment
- A comprehensive understanding of marketing, lead gen, advertising, technology and application of data science
