Director of Marketing
Job Description
The Director of Marketing is responsible for the overall marketing efforts for Human Element. This includes developing and executing business-specific marketing objectives and action plans to reach targets from brand awareness, service promotion, and internal culture branding. This role will continue to build and maintain a working relationship with Adobe. This role will ensure that design projects adhere to the various Human Element style guides, and ensures a consistent look and feel. REMOTE

- Responsible for the overall marketing efforts for Human Element.
- Develop, execute and evaluate marketing objectives and action plans related to brand awareness, service promotion, and internal culture branding.
- Work cross-functionally and collaboratively within the organization to ensure cohesiveness and aligned activities are achieved to accomplish key goals
- Planning, directing, and coordinating marketing efforts (inbound and outbound, promotions, SEO, SEM, social media, public relations, event planning, etc).
- Collaborate with teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all customer interaction points
- Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
- Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
- Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.)
- Supporting sales and lead generation efforts.
- Analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
- Coordinate company publicity interviews and press conferences
- Lead efforts for Human Element website, including content strategy, producing marketing copy and managing social media outlets
- Craft and send regular communications with company updates
- Coordinate trade show events and scheduling
- Join social media groups and professional platforms to discuss industry-related topics
- Network with industry experts and potential clients to drive brand awareness
- Gather customer feedback to inform sales and product teams
- Keep current on industry and market trends, as well as marketing tools and required certifications
- Participate in an active role on the Human Element leadership team.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field
- 5-10 years of marketing experience
- Experience in an eCommerce agency preferred
- Excellent leadership skills at a high level
- Strong ability to work across all levels of an organization
- Ability to present concepts in new ways and from new perspectives
- Well-versed in using SEO and social media strategies to attract and retain clients
- Creative, thinks "outside the box" and is an idea generator
- Proactive and considers the impact and implications of initiatives and decisions
- Great decision making and collaboration skills
- A team player that works well across all levels of an organization
