A pioneer in K-12 education since 2000, Amplify is leading the way in next-generation curriculum Amplify is seeking a Director, Marketing Systems and Analytics to help our hardworking marketing team reach even greater heights.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing Operations and works closely with all teams within the marketing department.
The ideal candidate has experience improving and maintaining the key tools that the marketing team uses to excel at their jobs - Hubspot (our central demand gen tool), Mailchimp, Zapier, Zoom, Optinmonster, Youtube, our integration with Salesforce, and more. The director will audit the tools, create plans for improvements, and implement those plans. They will seek out feedback from digital marketers to improve the tools and create processes and training to maximize their effectiveness.
In addition, the director will be an experienced data analyst who is capable of investigating problems and implementing solutions in complex data models built via Tableau Prep and Tableau. They will be proficient in SQL and capable of transferring these data models from Tableau into code.
Finally, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a service-based mindset. They will be determined to make the jobs of everyone on the Marketing team more efficient, more powerful, and more grounded in organized tools and accessible, accurate data.
In this role, you will:
  • Handle our tech stack, especially Hubspot, so that the right emails go to the right people, workflows function properly, leads can attend the webinars they sign up for and, in general, technology facilitates our best-in-class demand generation team.
  • Measure ROI of online and offline marketing activities and campaigns and impact on business. Report on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement
  • Serve as the point person on Marketing's side when it comes to sales-marketing alignment especially as it pertains to the handoff of leads from Marketing's Hubspot to Sales' Salesforce; ensure that leads meet the correct standards and that sales delivers, fast-reliable follow up.
  • Serve as point person and liaison other data teams, especially the Business Analytics teams, which will rely on you to build out requirements for tables and data models that they build and flow into our data warehouse.
  • Evaluate and onboard new technology. Establish usage rules, training, and integration with other parts of our tech stack. Make sure we get the most out of the technology we pay for.
  • Maintain, upgrade and handle our marketing analytics capabilities. Our dashboards, visualizations and underlying data models are built via Tableau and Tableau Prep. You will be responsible for investigating problems and implementing solutions as well as migrating our data models using SQL.
  • Build new dashboards and visualizations that allow digital marketers and other members of our marketing team to see important trends in their data. You need to be able to quickly put together analyses and visualizations for use that answer key questions about our business, or can be used by others on an ongoing basis.
  • Create and apply systems for QAing key functions in our tech stack so that we can ensure no new issues have popped up.
  • Lead internal 'customer success' for our marketing tech stack. Investigate and resolve inbound requests to fix issues and create improvements in our tech stack.

Basic Qualifications of the Director, Marketing Systems and Analytics:
  • 5+ years of experience managing a demand generation tech stack. You understand in and out the requirements to generate, nurture and pass a lead to sales, and have experience running the technology to do so.
  • 8+ years of experience with marketing automation technology
  • 5+ years of experience with business intelligence tools, especially Tableau
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • 3+ years of experience as a data analyst. You need to be able to quickly put together analyses and visualizations that answer key questions about our business.
  • Experience in leading staff

Preferred Qualifications of the Director, Marketing Systems and Analytics:
  • G-Suite competence. Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides are going to be your key tools for communicating inside the company.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Python or R.
  • An orientation to service and ongoing learning
  • Passion for K-12 education

What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, incentive stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $130,000 - $140,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
