Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a Marketing & Communications Consultant to all of Lockton Financial Services and Cyber Practice leadership.
- Create and execute overall marketing and communications strategy to support Lockton Financial Services and Cyber Practices business and accelerate growth.
- Be an internal consultant to develop business needs into an effective and evolving marketing & communication strategy and execute the ongoing products/solutions.
- Manage oversight of internal and external marketing & communication materials to ensure brand consistency across the Practice.
- Provide thought leadership on effective messaging to the marketplace using current and innovative publishing mediums.
- Proactively advise the Practice leadership on ways to market and promote news and accomplishments through multi-channel communications strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends and research alternative solutions to enhance reach and engagement.
- Manage direction and completion of Practice projects as assigned, ensuring delivery of services is consistent with expectations.
- Ensure internal and external communications portray an accurate representation of Lockton's services, philosophies, and culture. Includes validating content through use of appropriate subject matter experts in Series and Center.
- Provide ideas for continuous improvement and innovation, including facilitating rollout of solutions across the Practice that can be measured and/or observed.
- Partner with leadership and Center-based Marketing & Communication teams, ensuring appropriate collaboration and utilization of Lockton resources.
- Enforce editorial process for all Practice related topics submitted for internal or external publication.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on status of service delivery for assigned projects.
- Provide periodic updates to leadership on adherence to expense management and resources set-forth in the annual budget.
- Maintain Lockton's standard of "Best Places to Work", resulting in retention of key Associate and Producer talent.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- 10+ years of experience leading marketing & communications strategy and execution
• Outstanding executive presence and high emotional IQ
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Up to 10% travel with ability to travel via car and airplane
• Proficiency with MS Office programs
