Director of Marketing, Demand Generation
Job Description
The right candidate has deep B2B customer acquisition experience. They think strategically and tactically, enjoy testing and optimization and has a successful track record of establishing and driving marketing conversions in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
The Director of Marketing Demand Generation will work closely with the marketing team, sales leaders, and associates from analytics, data science, product marketing, and creative to develop and employ marketing initiatives in support of customer growth goals. They will be responsible for driving client acquisition strategies for one of ADP's primary business units, Compliance Solutions.
The ideal candidate must be a passionate individual who loves being a part of a winning team and brings strong written, strategic and organizational skills. This person must also able to convey messages across multiple channels and audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Build and execute customer acquisition plans utilizing email, digital, and other channels to drive conversions at key inflection points in the customer journey - before and during sales interaction
- Define customer segmentation and personalized engagement points in the customer journey
- Define KPIs at each stage of the journey with a commitment to testing and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, especially initial customer acquisition and purchase acceleration
- Leverage consumer trends, technology trends and best-in-class experiences to help shape and optimize the customer journey
- Apply voice of the customer insights to identify customer pain-points, challenges, and hurdles; advise on approaches to eliminate and/or positively enhance customer interactions
- Collaborate across the marketing organization to develop content for digital programs, campaign assets, etc... necessary to execute successful campaigns
- Manage the day-to-day execution and campaign performance in partnership with campaign developers
- Maintain the quality assurance of outbound campaigns

Qualifications:
- 8+ years of B2B customer acquisition marketing, email marketing, content marketing, publishing, and social media experience - ideally in a combination of agency / corporate environments
- 5+ years of experience building customer acquisition journeys and creating listening posts in the customer journey
- Experience targeting B2B business decision makers across small, medium and large organizations
- Experience implementing account-based marketing strategies to drive engagement and conversion
- Must have a passion for understanding consumer behavior and creating outstanding customer experiences
- Demonstrated exceptional analytical horsepower and data-driven problem-solving skills
- Entrepreneurial and owner mindset, with proven ability to influence and build advocacy for ideas at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- An innovative, positive, and self-directed attitude
- Proven success in working with cross-functional teams, such as Product and Analytics, to create and execute against shared goals that are based on data-informed hypotheses
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
- Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional attitude.
- Understanding of marketing automation and CRM tools
Education:
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or equivalent experience
Role is hybrid out of an ADP office.
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. Compensation range for this role is - $90,800 - $184,200 / Year
