Director of Marketing Operations
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
You will be responsible for ensuring marketing technology is customized to the needs of its users as well as set up to ensure effective data quality. This role is ultimately responsible for ensuring that every lead and opportunity is captured and managed efficiently at every stage of the pipeline. This role requires an individual who can approach the role with the ability to collaborate on the marketing technology strategy, as well as get into the weeds in the day-to-day work. You will lead a team of marketing operations professionals responsible for day-to-day management, goal setting, reviews, and other performance indicators. Our ideal candidate is based in Greensboro, NC, but this opportunity is also open to remote candidates.
Position Requirements:
Own, manage, and optimize the marketing technology stack (salesforce, marketing automation, and account-based marketing platforms.) and the end-to-end processes:
- That enable lead routing and scoring.
- Support delivery of demand generation.
- Report progress of funnel management and pipeline forecast.
- Track conversion rates across global demand generation programs.
- Provide visibility of pipeline progression.
- Track and report on the entire marketing funnel including volume, velocity, conversion stage-to-stage, and average value; make sure funnel measures can be analyzed by key dimensions such as industry, geo, and persona.
- Manage and measure lead generation technologies including: Google Adwords, LinkedIn Advertising, ZoomInfo, and others.
- Lead the process of A/B testing growth tactics to improve response and conversion rates to the funnel.
- Own and oversee multiple web properties and calls to action, chatbots and live chat, including improving website lead and traffic performance, and facilitating website update requests.
- Support the marketing organization and business with effective reporting to measure effectiveness, performance, and ROI of marketing spend.
- Located in Greensboro, NC preferred; remote available.

- Ability to understand apexanalytix's software, services, industries, target audiences, and solutions.
- Technically Knowledgeable - able to understand data flows, gain access to data available and necessary for evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing activities.
- Analytical - detail oriented, accurate and organized. Highly capable in quantitative and qualitative analysis of data to arrive at the central meaning and the impact to the business, and relevant to the GTM.
Experience
- 7+ years' experience in B2B SaaS marketing with a strong track record of driving and scaling pipeline generation in fast-paced environments for B2B SaaS companies.
- BA or BS in Marketing, Technology, Business, or another related field
- Extensive experience with modern B2B MarTech infrastructure such as: Salesforce, marketing automation, and account-based marketing platforms.
- Strong intellectual curiosity to develop and embrace new standard methodologies to build a continuous improvement culture.
