What do we need?
Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the operations of all internal and external projects through the Operation Manager or the overseer of the project. This person will be responsible for assuring the quality of the service render to the organization's clients is at highest possible specifications for continuing the relationship with the client. The Director of Operations will coordinates the internal structure of the organization based on company policies, goals, and objectives to ensure an efficient working environment and deadlines are met consistently. This person will be responsible for implementing management initiatives across the organizations book-of-business for the purpose of constantly invoking significant increase in collections, improve quality and service levels while decreasing risk. The Director of Operations of Operations is responsible for ensuring the communication and key milestones are delivered on-time for these for operation related enterprises throughout the business.
What will you provide?
- Provide strategic leadership
- Understands Revenue Cycle operations and technologies currently in place.
- Overseas operations of all collections functions such as monitoring third party accounts receivable, account follow-up, account resolution, AR reconciliation
- Insure management is performing timely reviews of high dollar accounts and appropriate escalation as needed.
- Provide guidance to the Operations Management team and other leaders to resolve internal and external issues.
- Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and company compliance policies, ensuring timely staff education
- Review Collections performance to ensure timeliness, accuracy, compliance, standards fulfillment as defined by the organizational standards
- Direct completion of monthly trending analysis and other reports related to overall performance
- Coordinate and promote implementation and monitoring of standard master files, processes, reporting and education programs
- Follow overall market trends and communicate significant shifts
- Oversee management of Collections personnel, providing recommendations for hiring, promotion, salary adjustments, and personnel action where appropriate
- Monitor trends and communicate significant shifts in market or operating conditions
- Develop specific objectives, budgets and performance standards for each area of responsibility!
- Identify and implement process improvements to lower cost and improve services
- Assume a lead role for innovation, knowledge sharing and leading practices identification within the organization
- Support Aspirion in its company-wide initiatives such as the development of operational models and education programs
- Prepare reviews and prepare performance document for direct reports
- Practice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement."
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Tactical execution - oversees the development, deployment and direction of complex programs and processes

- Communication - communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. This includes utilizing proper punctuation, correct spelling and the ability to transcribe accurately. The ability to communicate with staff, Middle Management, Clients and Executives
- Customer orientation - establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations
- Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties.
- PC skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required
- Policies & Procedures - demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems.
- Basic Skills - demonstrates ability to organize, perform and track multiple tasks accurately in short timeframes, have ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple demands, ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player, adaptability, analytical and problem solving ability and attention to detail and able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly. Spell correctly and transcribe accurately
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- At least 6 years' experience, preferably in Project Management, Financial Services, Hospital Operations, Supply Chain, or Information Systems-Oriented Environments.
- HCA-based systems, Meditech, EPIC, Change Healthcare Systems, Client Data System, SSI is a plus.
- Healthcare Operations Experience a plus.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:
Certificate Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred, but not required
