Job Description

The Role:

Paro is hiring a Director Operations to drive the strategic direction and operational improvements across our go-to-market (GTM) functions: Marketing, Inbound & Outbound Sales, Customer Success, and Support. This leader will oversee day-to-day customer operations, revenue-impacting systems, and our strategic BizOps function. This leader will report directly to the VP of Experience.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership
    • Shape the evolution of Paro’s new customer acquisition, pricing, and client retention strategies as a key member of GTM Leadership team
    • Improve sales velocity by increasing qualified opportunity volume, conversion rates, deal sizes, and cycle times through a mix of analytical rigor and qualitative strategies
    • Set and continually evaluate quotas, ramp-up plans, and promotion criteria for both Account Executives (Sales) and Account Managers (Customer Success)
    • Partner with Enablement to operationalize new product launches
    • Manage team of direct reports through their Paro careers, helping them achieve their goals and develop as operations professionals
  • Technical System Optimization
    • Standardize tools and requirements across entire GTM Team technology stack: web analytics, marketing automation, CRM, engagement, sales tools, CSM account prioritization
    • Oversee maintenance and optimization of GTM Team technology stack, including CRM and marketing automation development teams
    • Collaborate with RevOps Manager, Data Analysts, and Marketing Leadership to execute marketing campaigns
    • Lead vendor relationships and budget for GTM team technology stack
  • BizOps Strategic Oversight
    • Oversee current and future-state process design for entire GTM function, deploying BizOps resources against most critical strategic improvements
    • Develop and present “insight to action” plans to GTM organization on a frequent cadence
    • Lead prioritization of strategic projects, with stakeholder input
    • Coordinate strategy on sales compensation across sales, CS, and finance

How you’ll add value:

  • 5+ years in sales and/or revenue operations roles, including at least 3 years in direct people management capacities
  • Adept at identifying opportunities for improvement, translating ambiguous gaps into discrete initiatives, and executing on prioritized roadmaps
  • Possess a deep quantitative skill set, with data-driven insights consistently at the core of recommendations
  • Extensive experience in B2B organizations, ideally with exposure to consultative and solution-based selling Methodologies
  • Skilled at managing across the full spectrum of stakeholders: “Down” to direct reports, “across” to intra-Sales and cross-functional peers, and “up” to Executive Team
  • Ambitious, able to build trust across unique groups of colleagues, motivated, think outside the box
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess exceptional listening, organization, presentation, and business strategy skills
