Director of Partner Marketing

Location: Hybrid in New York City

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience in Partner marketing , Channel marketing or a similar role 

  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and strategies 

  • Experience in developing and executing marketing programs and campaigns 

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with partners and executive leadership at Melio. 

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making and optimization

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field

Bonus points:

  • Knowledge of the partner ecosystem

  • Experience working with fintech, startups or software companies in a marketing capacity

  • MBA in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop Partner Marketing Strategy

    • Define the overall partner marketing strategy, objectives, and goals.

    • Identify key target segments and verticals for partner marketing initiatives.

    • Conduct market research to understand partner needs and preferences.

    • Collaborate with partners to develop joint value propositions and messaging. 

  • Oversee Partner Marketing Programs

    • Help the marketing team to develop and execute comprehensive marketing programs to partner joint GTM efforts.

    • Make sure the marketing team conducts regular partner communication and updates to keep them informed about marketing initiatives, campaigns, and industry trends. 

  • Measure and Analyze Performance:

    • Collaborate with product and growth teams to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for partner marketing efforts and regularly monitor and report on performance, analyze campaign results metrics to optimize marketing strategies and tactics.

    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve partner marketing effectiveness.

  • Build and Maintain Partner Relationships:

    • Collaborate with the business development team to onboard new partners, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.

    • Foster strong relationships with partners through regular communication, joint planning, and business reviews.

    • Seek opportunities for co-marketing activities and strategic alliances to expand the partner ecosystem.

    • Work with senior leadership and keep them informed.

About the team:

The Growth department is made up of 3 teams: Marketing, Performance and Communications.

We work closely with Product teams, Business Development teams, Design  and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that our products are positioned and marketed effectively.

We're the ones who make sure our product reaches new audiences and that users keep coming back.

About Melio USA:
