Reports to: VP, People & Culture

FLSA Status: Exempt 

Location: Hybrid - Houston

The Director of People Experience is a newly created role that will lead talent & performance management, DE&I initiatives, employee relations, compensation reviews, employee events and office administration for our global headquarters in Houston, TX. You will develop an understanding and alignment with our core values + Leadership Principles and work closely with business leaders and teams to drive performance and boost engagement through this period of accelerated growth.

• Collaborate with the team to create and deliver high impact engagement programs focused on retention, building connections and developing high potential talent. 
• Champion the semi-annual talent review and performance management process and work closely with Employee Experience to deliver training, coaching leaders on giving effective feedback on performance. 
• Conduct the annual compensation review process, build pay bands and stay up to date on internal pay equity and market practices.
• Identify important metrics to help track our progress in promoting a more diverse and inclusive workplace 
• Oversee employee relations for North America by managing complex cases, investigations, resolving complaints, conflict management and finding a win-win-win solution for the employee, leader and the company
• Participate in the launch and ongoing delivery of the Global Leadership Development Program 
• Lead the team that focus on creating virtual and in-person employee events, experiences and office administration

• Bachelor's Degree plus 10+ years in an HR leadership role
• 5 years of progressive work experience in a high growth industry at scale  
• Culture Champion - ability to embrace our work culture and be an ambassador 
• Highly agile and ability to navigate through change and conflicting priorities
• Superior focus on people data, analytics and ability to drive influence and change through insights
