Responsibilities:Â
- Be instrumental in the launch and trajectory of the international growth plans for Alo.
- Create international pre-season sales, gross margin and inventory channel plans by department that support product strategies. Align both top-down and bottoms up department plans.Â
- Collaborate with merchandising//Buying/Planning teams to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns with the Alo brand.
- Partner with international channels and supply chain to support various business models, including: joint venture, franchisee and owned retail.Â
- Provide analytical insights across different markets to drive strategic decisions
- Drive financial results that maximize sales, inventory and bottom line profitability.
- Own the OTB process and analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by channel and department.
- Create and Leverage performance reports to maximize decision making on category, style, color, and sizing.
- Analyze sales trends and inventory levels to ensure appropriate inventory and instock targets.
- Lead change and/or enhancements to current processes and procedures.
- Be able to manage direct and non-direct reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 10+ years in merchandise planning or inventory management
- 3+ years experience in planning different international business models, such as franchise, joint venture and owned retail stores
- Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet demands and sense of urgency
- Strong aptitude for numbers, retail math skills and understanding of forecasting methodology
- Demonstrates logical analysis and problem-solving skills
- Possesses and ability to understand financial measurements and how to impact them
- Display strong listening, written and oral communication skills
- Strong trend analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to positively influence and lead others by fostering a motivating work outlook with emphasis on team collaboration
- Advanced Excel skills
- Tableau and Anaplan experience is a plus
The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $185,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
