We are seeking a Director of Procurement to join our team.
Job Summary
The Director of Procurement is responsible for developing a strategic approach to the corporate procurement of products and services. In this leadership role, the successful candidate will create efficiencies within the Imprivata corporate procurement processes, drive savings through contract negotiation and collaborate with Imprivata Legal and Compliance teams on maturing Imprivata vendor onboarding processes. This role will be responsible for the development and implementation of policies, procedures and systems which will drive efficiencies and savings into the Imprivata's internal goods and services purchasing.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a procurement business plan; establish, communicate, and implement long-term goals for the department in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
• Develop a centralized procurement program that adds value and efficiency to Imprivata.
• Serve as the primary contact for procurement related questions, training, policy and procedure interpretation and alignment by all departments.
• Oversee contract development, negotiations, and administration.
• Develop and implement procurement-related training programs for the organization.
• Establish and Manage procurement policies, procedures, and programs with a focus on their ability to enhance organizational value and efficiency.
• Communicate and implement new/revised policies, procedures and programs as needed.
• Process purchase orders; develops bids and proposals; and reconcile any invoice discrepancies.
• Partner with members of the leadership team and department leaders to ensure alignment and support for purchasing needs across the business.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business , Logistics, or related field.
• 7-10 years of related experience, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, development, and compliance.
• Track record of establishing procurement processes and establishing a vendor program.
• Proven experience negotiating SaaS, Cloud Hosting and Enterprise Software contracts as well as Professional and Managed Services agreements.
