Summary:

Vivint is seeking a Director of Product Management (Product Lead) for our Core Apps team. You will lead a Product team and direct a group of Senior Product Managers and Product Managers in this role and will be responsible for delivering a new strategic vision for the future our smart home experience in the Mobile appYou will work closely with every product team across Vivint in addition to our ecommerce and operations team to create impactful and engaging experiences across the entire customer journey for our customers. t. In addition, you will aim to increase customer awareness of Vivint's new and existing products, encouraging them to expand and grow their relationship with Vivint. You'll partner closely with UX, and Engineering leads on the team to define and drive the product roadmap.

You will be on the cutting edge, developing products that make the smart home even smarter. Others are just getting into the Internet of Things game. Vivint is applying years of experience in the home to create the world's best integrated Smart Home experience, including our new business areas of energy, insurance and aging in place. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Create and embody a culture of "customer first" in approaching user and business problems, with demonstrated success having shipped experiential products
  • Be able to set a vision, work closely with design to explore experiential directions to deliver an amazing customer experience
  • Key contributor to the Innovation and 3-year plan in addition to 1-year plan
  • Owning all parts of the product - from vision and strategy to yearly roadmaps to executing on set goals.
  • Directing, mentoring, and leading a group of product managers.
  • Establish a strong balance between discovering new product opportunities and delivering world-class product experiences
  • Ability to influence all parts of the organization, not just your product team.
  • Familiarity of leading Design Language System work, in conjunction with UX and Engineering.
  • Build and maintain relationships across Vivint at a variety of levels from PM to Executive level.
  • Monitor product performance and proactively identify opportunities for product improvements
  • Partner with the GTM team to prepare operations, marketing, sales, supply chain, and support product channels for launch
  • Experience owning the app while guiding as well as empowering other product teams to ship customer experiences that are consistent with the tenets of the app.

Required Education/Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience of shipping one or multiple customer experiences as a software product manager, ideally with mobile app experience and has directly led transformational app redesigns
  • Demonstrates deep commitment to solving customer problems and empathy for the consumer
  • Well versed in the technical aspects of building software
  • E-commerce or customer acquisition/growth experience preferred, but not required
  • Extreme comfort in creating structure out of ambiguous problems and works well with others to support shared goals
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Design, Business or a related field preferred, but not required

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
