The Role:
Medely’s mission is to transform how healthcare works by empowering healthcare professionals and facilities with an extraordinary technology platform that delivers economic opportunity and operational efficiency. Our vision is to build a platform that will help facilities transform their workforce management capabilities. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Product to lead this product charter and team.
As the Director of Product, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, roadmap, and vision for our Workforce Management solution, and overall Facility experience. You will oversee all aspects of product development, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and post-launch optimization. This is a leadership role that requires strong product management expertise, strategic thinking, people management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The Impact You’ll Make:
Product Strategy and Vision: Define and communicate a compelling product strategy and vision that aligns with the company's overall objectives. Conduct customer interviews and market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, and incorporate these insights into the product strategy. Continuously evaluate and refine the product strategy based on customer feedback, industry developments, and business goals
Product Roadmap and Execution: Develop a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key features, enhancements, and timelines, taking into account customer requirements, market dynamics, and technical feasibility. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution and delivery of the product roadmap. Prioritize product initiatives based on business impact, customer value, and resource availability
Stakeholder Management and Collaboration: Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives, sales, marketing, customer support, and clinical-ops teams, to gather insights, solicit feedback, and ensure alignment on product strategy and priorities. Act as a liaison between different teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration, ensuring a seamless product development process
Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing product team, providing guidance, mentorship, and career development opportunities to team members. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the product organization. Recruit and onboard top talent, ensuring the team has the skills and expertise needed to drive product excellence
Product Performance and Optimization: Own your numbers. Define and track key product metrics to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement. Inspire your cross-functional team to overachieve on set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals. Work closely with data science, sales, and other teams to gather insights and leverage data-driven decision-making in product development and optimization. Continuously monitor customer feedback and user behavior to identify opportunities for enhancing the product
Who You Are:
10+ years of PM experience developing successful and innovative B2C and B2B products, focusing on Enterprise & SaaS domains, and managing software features through multiple iterations
Strong leadership skills with 3+ years of experience in managing and growing high-performing product teams
Demonstrates success in developing and executing product strategies and major initiatives that had a significant impact on business and customer metrics
Strong customer centricity and the ability to blend user research with data & business needs to build a prioritized product roadmap
Deep understanding of the agile product development lifecycle and methodologies, with the ability to balance short-term objectives and long-term vision
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You always get the data you need and can distill it into an insightful story. Most importantly, you have a data-driven approach to decision-making
Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Technical skills. Doesn’t have to have a Computer Science degree, but the proven ability to inform and evaluate engineering decisions. An engineering or technical degree is preferred
