What We Are Looking For:

We're looking for a Director of Product Management for Mobile Networks - including 5G who gets things done and is capable of being a leader on our product development team.  Bandwidth provides communications services to the largest companies in the world through US and global number management, VOIP, Messaging and Emergency services. We aim to bring our award winning customer experience to enterprises looking for 5G mobile solutions. 

What You'll Do:

As the product leader in this space you will be setting the direction for the teams for the next 2-3 years, instituting processes to manage backlog, shared goal setting, and working to enable teams to quickly identify and solve problems as well as developing innovative new solutions.  You will be a subject matter expert in mobile services, a coach and mentor to product owners and developers, embracing and mastering agile processes and managing product scrum teams.  To ensure the products overall success, you will partner with other Product Directors/Owners as well as Technology, Software, Operations, and key suppliers, to define and execute the product strategy, and ensure our mobile services are reliable and resilient in support of new product launches.

• Create and own the long-term platform vision for the global Mobile 5G offering; developing the product strategy for bringing the vision to reality and drive execution towards it through product management and scrum product teams by setting direction and goals. 
• Evaluate product progress towards the platform vision and be accountable to business outcomes.
• Make key results and goals visible to all stakeholders and interpret them into actionable conclusions and new hypotheses.
• Lead partnership with suppliers and global partners as needed to deliver a complete product solution.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Technology and Development teams to define capabilities and solutions bringing to market cost-savings, revenue-generating, customer-driven software products.
• Ensure the product is designed based on deep knowledge of the carriers, users, and technology translating technical observations and stakeholder feedback into a prioritized product backlog.

What You'll Need: 

• BA/BS degree or equivalent with 10+ years knowledge and demonstrated experience and specialization in mobile network applications and services
• Deep understanding of mobile voice and network requirements specific to larger customers or specific verticals
• Experience working with Agile Scrum Methodologies
• Demonstrated leadership of direct and/or indirect teams

• Highly analytical skills with the ability to translate between strategic business decisions and their quantitative implications
• Blend strategic and tactical thinking- someone who can identify and prioritize opportunities in highly ambiguous contexts, and then organize thematic work areas in deep detail, thus aligning long term vision with iterative execution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to be personable yet persistent and clearly communicate and engage with key stakeholders like leadership, other product/engineering teams, operations, and customers.
