Director of Product Management - Enterprise SAAS Company

Location: USA (occasional travel to Denver, CO)

Position Overview: As the Director of Product Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product strategy and vision of the company. Working closely with the CSPO and other cross-functional teams, you will lead the development and delivery of our product roadmaps, feature priorities and user-centered designs. Working in partnership with the VP of Engineering you will be responsible for bringing compelling and differentiated solutions to market that bring significant value to our customers. Your expertise in product management, strategic thinking, and market insight will be instrumental in driving innovation and achieving our business objectives.
Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy: Collaborate with the CSPO and other stakeholders to define and execute the company's product strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives and market opportunities.
• Product Roadmap: Create and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on market research, customer feedback, and business goals.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless development, launch, and marketing of products and features.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and analyst interviews to identify opportunities and threats, making data-driven decisions for product development.
• Customer Research: Develop empathetic relationships with our customers to gain a deep understanding of their wants, needs and desires. Be a key conduit of the customer voice into the organization.
• Product Development: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring that products meet high-quality standards and a delightful user experience.
• User Experience: Focus on creating an exceptional user experience by working closely with customers, being intensely curious about the customers' working environment and experience.
• Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of products, and use data-driven insights to make improvements.
• Promote: Attend industry and customer events to promote the Beam value proposition while also gathering deep insight into current customer and market trends.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a product management and design team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results-driven performance aligned with our company values.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior product management role with at least [10] years of experience, preferably within the SAAS industry.
• Strong understanding of SAAS architecture, user experience design, and agile product development methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• A passion for fostering innovation and a strong customer-centric mindset.
