Job Description
- Responsible for managing assigned aspects of the P&L through a direct and cross-functional team.
- Leads the development of the product vision and line plan for all online markets, in alignment with global brand and product strategy
- Leads the development of the product vision and line plan for all online markets through the use of framework plans, market and competition analyses, product life-cycle management, sales and customer feedback, gender and channel differentiation requirements as well as sufficient SKU/volume plans. Must gain buy-in from critical general manager and/or product management stakeholders.
- Drives and monitors the development of relevant process steps and timelines with consideration of the go-to-market status and key milestones.
- Embraces and operationalizes new and innovative ways of working
- Ensures product ranges meet our sustainability objectives.
- Builds meaningful relationships with other digitally focused roles to drive elevation of capabilities and centers of excellence.
- Leads team of direct reports
- Leads and directs the Growth Team in important tasks, set priorities correctly to drive efficiency and decisions.
- Leads the collaboration of the development of the global marketing plans and concepts together with the Growth Team and the marketing & communications teams through briefings for the communication plan.
- Owns and monitors SKU/Style productivity goals and inventory.
- Collaborates on product and sales presentations; conduct training on product line related topics.
- Ensures the quality level demanded by our consumers and customers meets and exceeds expectations.
- Assists in developing and delivering routine business summaries and reports to the President and Executives.
- Collaborate with other Men's UW leaders to develop and drive annual and LRP brand marketing plans, supporting brand sales, growth and equity objectives.
- Give guidance on the creation of gold-standard PDP's and lead associates to deliver those PDP's for our product.
- Works with GMs to create strategies to drive growth for our Innerwear Basics OMNI-channel business and other brand or consumer-centric initiatives over the LRP.

The Director of Product Management, IW Mens Omnichannel is a key leader in amplifying performance of the winning product portfolio in the online space; including Amazon, retailer .coms, and our owned sites. The role is responsible for directing a team that drives online go-to-market strategies for the Mens Underwear product portfolio while achieving both short and long-term goals inclusive of aggressive revenue and profit growth and share growth.
The director will work in close collaboration and use their strong influence skills to effectively work with other departments, specifically product development, sales, consumer insights, marketing communications, digital merchandising, digital marketing, DTC, finance and internal manufacturing. The director will work with leadership and ultimately own impact from the online businesses to the full P&L including gross profit, life-cycle management, inventory management and SKU productivity and overall assortment framework planning responsibilities. This position will be based in our company headquarters in Winston-Salem, N.C. This role is a key leader in delivering the Hanes Full Potential plan. The deliverables for this role will focus on collaboration with cross functional teams to plan and execute merchandise assortments while placing the consumer at the forefront of every decision.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in the field of product management or broad business experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
- Experience driving ecommerce businesses, both pureplay and omnichannel.
- Experience in assortment planning
- Strategic thinker who recognizes opportunities and can influence decision makers to move to execution
- Demonstrated ability to develop institutional policies/procedures and drive change
- Strong budget management skills
- Excellent IT skills in MS Office, Outlook, databases
- Experience in an international business environment is seen as an asset
- A strong communication team leader, the role requires strong leadership experience and is comfortable working in a highly matrixed and collaborative environment
