Zest is hiring for a Director of Product Marketing to help drive us through our next phase of growth. You are a data driven, hands-on, results oriented product marketer who thrives on translating technical capabilities into compelling stories that resonate across personas, segments, and stakeholders. You thrive on pulling diverse teams together, bringing clarity when there’s ambiguity and action plans when there are obstacles. You’re energized by seamlessly switching between powerful individual contributor and effective team leader – a player-coach who has a passion for the value of product marketing as a discipline. You have a constant eye for improvement and feel a sense of satisfaction when you help others draw meaningful connections and see new value or opportunity. You can manage crafting product vision, marketing strategy, and GTM plans with the diverse hands-on skills to help execute at every stage. In this role you will:

  • Own sales enablement, creating education programs, training materials, comp intel resources, sales collateral, and win/loss programs to empower a senior enterprise sales team to exceed our growth goals.
  • Own voice of customer, conducting interviews, fielding surveys, analyzing market trends, and synthesizing insights for a holistic understanding of what makes our customers tick
  • Build and facilitate VoC programs/processes, such as customer advisory boards, to ensure we receive high quality feedback that is properly prioritized and communicated throughout the organization
  • Act as the steward of our product/market fit, ensuring product roadmap reflects the needs of our customers and corporate strategy
  • Drive product messaging and positioning through thought leadership and sales/marketing materials and collaborate with others to evangelize our value propositions in marketing programs
  • Act as the go-to-resource to help Zest teams speak in a unified voice about what makes our solution special and be the person who knows or can find the answer to almost any question
  • Deliver cross-functional go-to-market management with launch plans, readiness checks, communication processes, and other product marketing best practices
  • Become the expert in our customer, our product, and our market, using data, research, and results to speak authoritatively on key subjects of our business.

We are looking for:

  • 7+ years product marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • An ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders across various functions (e.g. Sales, Product, Client Success, etc)
  • A solid eye for design and knack for good storytelling with the relevant creative and writing skills to create great content
  • Technical literacy and an aptitude for data comprehension, comfortable reading, analyzing, and researching technical topics on your own
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and create clarity for people and teams
  • Experience creating marketing strategy and plans to meet core business objectives.
  • Constantly curious and enjoy learning about new verticals and technologies, shifting seamlessly between products, industries, and audiences; you can geek out on the technical nitty-gritty and can articulate value to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A collaborator at heart with a bias for action
