- Coaching and developing your 2 product marketers (direct reports) on the product, market, and competition while providing 1:1 feedback and monitoring their performance.
- Recruit and hire an additional 1-3 PMMs based on the achievement of the company’s product and corporate strategy.
- 30 days:
- Meet 1:1 with your new colleagues in marketing, sales, partnerships, and product management to learn more about how you’ll collaborate together. Schedule recurring meetings with the most impactful stakeholders to continue to build the relationship.
- Get familiar with our customers and the market by listening to sales and partnership prospecting and discovery calls.
- Work with the sales enablement team to begin updating and adding new competitive content in our competitive enablement tool.
- Review recent marketing content (reports, blogs, one-pagers, podcasts, customer stories, etc.) to understand the retail and e-commerce markets.
- By 60 days your priority will be:
- To take the insight and knowledge you gained in the first 30 days about the market and our customers and learn what our products do and why they exist.
- To get familiar with the products by listening to sales demonstration calls.
