Your role in this mission

Do you know what keeps people awake at night?Good! Because we're looking for an experienced Product Marketer to join our US team.

You will work with stakeholders across the business to present our product in ways that will strengthen our brand and get people to buy.You'll know our product inside out.

You will engage with customers and partners to understand the market.

You'll develop assets and resources to help win deals more quickly, and guide product development.

You will be able to follow a brief, but will also bring your personality and your own ideas to the team.

THE TYPE OF PERSON WE'RE AFTER:We're after a problem solver. Someone who can resonate with customers on their frequency, positioning messages from their point of view.

You must be well organised, able to work independently and consistently produce high-quality work.You'll have outrageous interpersonal skills. You will be comfortable interacting with colleagues, customers and partners, and you'll be at ease speaking at public events and on camera.You understand how to "start with why". You will use this to translate technical capabilities into value-based messaging and compelling stories.

You understand language is a key differentiator. You'll be able to comfortably adopt our tone of voice.

This role isn't for you if you're only into describing features or technical capabilities, and you don't like the limelight (you'll be on camera a lot)!

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Study company products
• Translate technical details into value-based messaging
• Follow and analyse market trends to position product messaging
• Lead on product launch and release communications and coordinate with other teams to plan, create and publish launches
• Support with the development of product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching)
• Represent CybSafe at events, sales calls, product demos, and webinars
• Support sales, channel partners and customer success with assets to help win deals more quickly and delight customers
• Support the development and positioning of CybSafe messaging
• Work closely with the Product team to help inform a product roadmap based on common feature requests, supported by competitive analysis and vendor mapping

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• 3+ years experience as a Director of Product Marketing or 5+ years working as a Senior Product Marketing Manager in cybersecurity
• Interest in the cyber security landscape
• Exceptional writing, communication, presentation skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Fantastic interpersonal, judgement and independent thinking skills
• A knack for explaining complex technical concepts in simple terms
• A self-starter and prepared for some travel
• Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns)
• Desirable: Track record of success in a start-up or fast-growth environment.
• Desirable: Practical understanding of software development processes - including the development of technical roadmaps etc.
• Background in design and copywriting is a plus
