Director of Product Marketing - Quantum Information Platforms

LOCATION
Infleqtion has 5 office locations, operating out of Boulder, CO; Madison, WI; Chicago, IL; London, UK; and Melbourne, AU. This position is a full-time, hybrid position which will be located in our Boulder, CO or Chicago, IL office.
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the President of Quantum Information Platforms, the Director of Product Marketing position is a critical part of Infleqtion's QIP organization, driving market awareness, engagement, and demand generation. The role encompasses quantum computation, the exciting nascent field of quantum matter and other platforms to follow.
The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated, and talented marketer, looking to apply and build their skills within an exciting deep tech category.
The director will collaborate closely with our Product, Business Development, Corporate Marketing, Executive, and Engineering teams to drive execution of our go-to-market strategy and demand generation activities across the QIP portfolio. We run a highly collaborative and flat team, so you'll have the opportunity to take a meaningful leadership role, work creatively and develop your professional skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate our product capabilities and features into clear value propositions, based on target markets and end user needs
- Lead go-to-market programs including developing messaging, positioning, and product launch strategies to drive awareness, education, engagement, and demand
- Develop and execute strategies for identifying the most impactful marketing channels for our products, including digital marketing, partner marketing, and conferences
- Develop, manage, and execute the creation of marketing content, creative assets, and materials across the full range of marketing channels
- Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and provide assessment of competitor positioning, messaging, and presence
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's)
- Bachelor's degree (engineering, physics, computer science or similar fields would be a strong plus)
- 5+ years' experience in product marketing or related discipline, with a track record of success in high-tech B2B marketing roles
- Very strong technical skills with proven ability to develop a deep understanding of complex technology and products
- Experience in marketing emerging technologies (e.g. AI, ML, High Performance Computing) and crisply communicating complex scientific and technological concepts to a highly technical audience
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts and capabilities into highly compelling business value propositions for partners and customers
- Startup mentality: smart, self-starter, proactive and a can-do cross-functional team player
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial drive, intellectual agility, and personal eagerness to develop with the needs of the business
- Self-motivated, energetic individuals with strong problem-solving and technical skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn new and complex topics quickly; Passion for solving complex problems and challenges in a highly technical and scientific environment

- Ability to travel domestically and (potentially) internationally up to 20%
Benefits
This position pays $140,000 to $180,000 (salary range under review)
