The Role

SimplePractice is looking for an experienced Director of Product, Platform to drive our strategy, vision, and delivery of our Platform Products. This product leader will manage a team that is responsible for building and scaling our platform products such as our design systems, messaging platform, and data platform. An ideal candidate for this role is passionate about systems thinking, building for scale and driving efficiency. 

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision and roadmap for the platform, aligned with business objectives and market trends
• Develop a deep understanding of the customer lifecycle and define tactics to drive adoption and usage of the SimplePractice EHR
• Manage, mentor and grow a team of product managers
• Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap for our platform products
• Understand customer needs and market trends, and use that knowledge to inform product development decisions
• Work collaboratively with Engineering Leads, Design Teams, Data Science, Operations and Customer Success teams to ensure roadmaps strike the right balance between business outcomes, customer needs, technology enablement and adoption
• Manage backlog, prioritize feature requests, and create user stories based on company goals and objectives
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future decisions
• Be a champion for the platform internally, advocating for its value proposition and securing buy-in from stakeholders

Desired Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of product management experience with 4+ years of experience managing a team
• Knowledge of healthcare (EHR systems) a plus
• Experience leading and growing a team of product managers
• Demonstrated track record of delivering successful products at scale
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing product development from idea to launch and beyond
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Experience in the SaaS industry is a plus

Base Compensation Range

$185,000 - $210,000 annually

Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.

The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
