Director of Project Finance

Two Six Technologies is looking for a Director of Project Finance, TSC Business Unit. This person will support the TSC portfolio and provide management and oversight of TSC Project Finance staff. An effective candidate will be a strategic business partner and trusted advisor, requiring clear communication, cross-functional relationships, and will bring outstanding technical finance & accounting skills, strong financial stewardship, and a relentless drive to realize our mission.

Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare and distribute financial information and data within required deadlines and ensure that the information provided is concise, relevant, and understandable to assist leadership in making intelligent business and program decisions
• Work with Accounting, Contracts, Program Management, FP&A, Pricing, and various Business Units in solving complex issues
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis, in conjunction with the FP&A team for all areas of the Business Unit P&L and project performance
• Review program and project financial reports; provide analysis and insight to ensure our financial resources are leveraged for maximum impact in our overall strategic plan
• Budgeting and Forecasting responsibilities for updating monthly Short-Term Forecast (STF) for Revenue, Gross Margin, and Net Operating Profit with variance explanations
• Track and ensure monthly project deliverables are met.
• Thorough understanding of budget, forecast expenditures, monitor actuals, and report outcome data for all task orders (i.e. Estimates to Complete (ETC) and Estimates at Completion (EAC) analysis)
• Assist in establishing short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
• Identify relevant insights and compile analytical reports and forward-thinking business unit forecasts based upon financial trends that enable others to make sound decisions
• Develop, update and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Finance, and Accounting or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive finance experience in a financial management, business management and/or project control in a Professional Services Environment
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with senior or executive leadership,
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS;familiarity with US government financial, contractual, and administrative regulations, policies and practices, and reporting requirements
• Active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain TS or higher

Nice if you have:

• Experience working with either DoD or Intel Agency Customers
• Working knowledge of the Unanet or Costpoint ERP
• Lead process improvement and reporting automation initiatives
• The individual must be a hands-on, detailed oriented professional
• Strong knowledge and experience with project planning, scheduling, and execution
