GA Foods is hiring a Director of Project Management to direct and lead cross-departmental project initiatives. We are seeking a self-starter to join our team and embrace the company's values, vision and mission as One Team.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and gains agreement on project objectives, scope, timing, and resources.
• Facilitates strategic and operational planning and implementation processes to assure that management is knowledgeable of process, goals, objectives, and strategies.
• Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
• Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Ensures resource availability and allocation.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
• Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
• Monitors, coordinates, documents, and communicates progress toward achievement of business goals, objectives, strategies, and action plan results.
• Ensures that projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and adhering to established operating parameters; negotiates changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines,
• Oversees and works to resolve issues that serve as roadblocks and/or place project objectives at risk.
• Identifies, secures, and coordinates implementation of internal and external resources and expertise as appropriate to achieve project objectives.
• Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities.
• Maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and best practices.
• Defines individual performance objectives and development plans, and ensures alignment with department, function.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong PM software and Microsoft Office Skills required

Education and Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in project management, including planning, organizing, evaluating work, and managing the budgetary process; high-level and cross-functional management experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's preferred OR; 5 years of additional project management experience.
• PMP, PgMP, PfMP and/or a comparable project management certification strongly preferred.
• End-to-end project management experience required.
• Demonstrated experience influencing business decisions.
• Experience providing leadership and management oversight, performing long-range financial planning.
• Experience delivering complex work efforts working with recognized program and/or project methodologies.
