The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated digital migration for many critical services. Those services require a trusted identity to safeguard against fraud and help ensure people are who they claim to be. With ID.me, login and identity credentials move with people, which can reduce the time and frustration of having to verify at multiple sites and set up multiple passwords.
ID.me is a credential service provider compliant with federal standards for digital identity verification.Â
In addition to helping people control their credentials and data, the company’s “No Identity Left Behind” initiative strives to expand access and inclusion for all people. The company offers multiple pathways to verification – online self-serve, live video chat agents, and in person. ID.me is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Director of Proposal Management to build a high performing team with a standardized process for winning sales proposals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead development of a world-class proposal process that delivers winning results. You will work closely with ID.me’s engineering, product, and sales teams to draft and edit, draft and deliver high quality, complex proposals for a technical SaaS product.

Responsibilities- Responsible and accountable for the planning, development and production of high quality proposals
- Manage and lead a team of Proposal Managers and Proposal Analysts to coordinate responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
- Design and implement a proposal process that is standardized, scalable, and produces high quality responses
- Drive the development, coordination, and completion of proposals from proposal kickoff preparation through final submissions
- Ensure a clear understanding of the requirements and the technical solution are well-articulated and consistent throughout final proposal documents
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various stakeholders to draft, develop, and write compelling value propositions and technical sales documentationÂ
- Track, schedule, and coordinate work assignments to support winning new businessÂ
- Ability learn and write persuasively about complex technical concepts related to digital identity, SaaS, cyber security, and fraud prevention
- Flexibility and the ability to gracefully navigate ambiguity, deadline pressure and conflicting requests
- Organize and prepare information and data for use in a wide variety of complex technical proposals
- Enhance and build the content library with approved and accurate information
- Lead the Proposal Management team through goal setting, performance tracking, mentoring, career progression, and positioning the team for long-term success
- Bachelor’s degree required, Masters degree preferred
- 10+ years of proposal writing and management experience including drafting, reviewing, and editing proposals
- 5+ years of experience managing complex, performance-based proposals, involving cross-functional teams
- Experience submitting large, complex proposals for Federal or State governments with values greater than $100M
- Thorough knowledge of technical writing principles and practices
- Highly organized with the ability to independently prioritize
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

ID.me Covid Vaccination Requirement
ID.me has a mandatory vaccination requirement where not prohibited by applicable federal or state law.
