Director of Provider Relations and Research

Join KLAS in our mission to improve the world's healthcare by engaging with healthcare providers to gather their insights on healthcare IT systems. We aim to build strong relationships with providers to share data they need to make informed decisions as well as drive vendor improvement. 
As Director of Provider Relations and Research you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing relationships with our key contacts (VIPs) at healthcare delivery organizations.
You will be responsible for:
VIP Engagement and Management

• Designing and implementing strategies to engage VIP contacts
• Developing processes to ensure accountability and engagement in VIP research, reassigning contacts as needed
• Managing VIP progress reports and tracking progress towards VIP volumes

Repeat Participation and Giveback

• Owning repeat participation KPIs and processes and supporting the creation of automated workflows
• Leading provider giveback efforts, including developing tools, processes, and templates for giving back to research participants
• Tracking giveback trends and managing provider research participant awards

Provider Relationship and Marketing

• Partnering with marketing to support provider-related marketing campaigns
• Tracking provider relationship scores
• Developing strategies for overall provider relationship improvement

Researcher Management

• Overseeing and owning all researcher-related functions and processes
• Tracking key metrics and rewarding/highlighting high performers
• Leading monthly research department updates and highlighting missed opportunities for critical evaluation collection

Quality Assurance

• Supervising and executing the vision and strategy for the research quality assurance team
• Establishing scalable processes and ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Tracking productivity KPIs and fostering organizational support for quality assurance initiatives

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with proven experience and passion for building, nurturing, and growing provider relationships.
• Extensive healthcare provider network.
• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing strategic plans.
• Experience in optimizing processes and communicating technical needs/requirements to product managers and developers.

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Direct experience working with healthcare providers in a provider setting.
• Proficiency with Tableau and other data visualization tools.
• Proficiency in coding in R to pull and run reports.
• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency using excel pivot tables and advanced formulas.

KLAS Research has a hybrid work policy to allow team members to work both remotely and in the office. This flexible approach provides team members with a balance between in-person collaboration and remote work autonomy. Hybrid work is defined as two full days expected in-office.
