As a Director of Revenue Operations, you will serve as a trusted partner to the Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations teams. Leveraging your experience in sales, marketing, and customer success technology strategies, operational efficiency, and execution in a high-growth SaaS environment, you will build and scale a centralized operating motion across all revenue-related functions (sales development representatives (SDR), customer success (CS), marketing, and support).
You’ll Get To:
- Understand the key business/transformational processes of the Marketing, SDR, and CS functions and their associated performance metrics.
- Assist the functional leaders with utilizing new metrics, a better understanding of performance, and using data to make decisions.
- Work with the BI and Data Analytics teams to bring critical data-driven dashboards to the functions and deeper customer insights to the cross-functional executives.
- Drive cross-functional processes around defining, prioritizing, tracking action plans, and monitoring essential metrics for Marketing, SDR, and CS.
- Help manage the centralized revenue ops cadence to ensure leadership meetings and other structures are appropriate and facilitate effective and timely communication.
- Actively participate in crafting and delivering critical operational updates for functional leadership, executive leadership team, cross-functional teams, and external audiences.
- Review marketing, SDR, and CS operations processes and policies to help enhance workflows and develop a more robust operating model.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to drive effective cross-functional and cross-collaboration alignment to deliver revenue outcomes (e.g., cost to serve coverage models, customer segmentation modeling and scale, CS bookings pacing, lead progression, and trends).
- Collaborate with the revenue teams’ cross-functional partners to drive effective delivery of work.
You Should Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. MBA/Consulting experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a SaaS-oriented sales, marketing, or customer success operations function (sales/business operations, product management, or project management).
- Subject matter expertise in revenue-related operational tools such as Saleforce, Pardot, Marketo, Kissmetrics, Google Analytics, Zendesk, Gainsight, G-Suite, Tableau, and others.
- Up to 10% travel.
Desired Superpowers:
- Dedicated and relentless project leadership and execution. Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in complicated situations. You are known as the person who “gets stuff done.”
- Structured thinker. Develop and use frameworks to help structure the team’s thinking, facilitate alignment on critical strategic decisions among various partners, and identify the 80/20 opportunities to reach insightful, measurable answers without boiling the ocean with analysis overload.
- Technology-aided process design. You are equally comfortable solving problems through technology as you are through operational excellence and know when to employ the right tactic.
- Great communicator. You connect easily with our culture and understand how our operations work. As a result, you can influence a team and individuals to drive to conclusions in a heavily matrixed environment.
- Fast Mover and flexible. We move fast and believe that done well is better than perfect. Continual iteration is essential.
- Excited to learn and help build a growing business.
- High-energy and positive standout colleague with a servant’s heart.
