As an Director of Sales at VerSprite, you'll be pivotal as we expand our account base across the United States. You will lead a team of Account Executives to identify new business, develop existing customers, manage incoming sales as our company continues to grow and help maintain the highest level of execution and customer service for our clients. Additionally, you will be:
- Managing all aspects of sales operations and team from start to finish.
- Lead qualifying conversations and project discussions about VerSprite services
- Qualify sales opportunities and generate new business for our consulting services
- Sales conversations that help clients develop a clear vision of solutions to their problems
- Collaborate with clients to co-create business value
- Mitigate client perceptions of risk
- Document and organize meaningful meeting notes that drive sales and project success.
- Responsible for documenting and communicating project scope, goals, timing requirements, and client expectations.
- Proposing tailored solutions to address customer security threats and risks.
- Assessing results and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Anticipating and mitigating barriers to sale or implementation.
- Use creative methods and approaches to prospect and sell new business, i.e. social selling - Twitter and leverage podcast
- Differentiate and stand out from the competition
- Thrive in a fast-paced, growth-minded company that is being created in real-time
- Demonstrate an understanding of cybersecurity solutions, terminology, and trends
This role requires that consultative solution selling runs in your DNA. You will work in an environment where you get to combine people, technology and sales.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of work experience.
- Have a track record of success in a Senior Inside Sales Rep or Junior Field Sales Rep selling cybersecurity products to enterprise customers is preferred
- Thrive in high-transaction sales environments focused on 100% net-new business
- Accustomed to challenging quota attainment and new client acquisition.
- Are mission and values focused, as well as tenacious and have a can-do attitude
- Communicate effectively in a variety of ways and are extremely detail oriented
- High work ethic and motivation
- Positive mindset
- Familiarity with technology and cybersecurity is a plus
