Director of Sales
Job Description
The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading and executing a wide array of activities. Below are examples to help further illustrate the duties of the role:• Develop and manage a global sales organization, including 8 direct reports (i.e., 5 Regional Sales
Managers, 1 National Accounts Manager, 2 International Sales Managers) and a sales operating budget.• Build relationships with distributors, dealers, national customers, builders and other key influencers. • Monitor distributor sales forecasts and performance for eight affiliated (i.e., company owned) distributors and all independent distributors around the world; take actions (influence) as needed to achieve growth targets.• Provide external voice of field team needs (i.e., internal sales, distributors, dealers) to factory team (i.e., corporate) and participate in key meetings (e.g., S&OP, Product Roadmap).• Participate in development of annual promotion, program and pricing policies (e.g., online, MSRP, UMRP).• Actively participate in all key activities to drive successful launches of new products.• Drive communication and coordination with
dealers/builders who are national and/or cross-distributor territories.• Develop and oversee factory-based training sessions and meetings.• Lead and host distributor and dealer VIP events at Subzero Group's headquarters.• Attend and participate in key trade associations and events
