Job Description
The mission of the Account Director role is to deliver sales-qualified leads to the Growth team to solution and close. Your mission is to deliver new client engagements totaling at least $3M in new revenue in 2024.
The annual revenue contribution target will increase to $4M in the second full year (2025) and $5M in the third full year (2026).
You will do this by identifying and developing opportunities within the Financial Services space, leveraging those relationships to identify and execute on product development, implementation, and staff augmentation opportunities.
You will maintain this list of contacts in Hubspot and nurture those relationships over time with value-added content and engagement. You will also collaborate with Praxent’s marketing and executive leadership teams to refine our ideal client profile, messaging, and service offerings, enabling Praxent to further differentiate itself in the Financial Services industry while also setting realistic expectations about Praxent’s delivery capabilities.
Who You Are
- Direct. You are eager to get to the bottom of our client's needs. You’re at your best when you’re hosting, ensuring everyone has a pleasant and meaningful interaction no matter what the context.
- Well-organized. Organization isn’t your strength, it’s your way of life. There’s no activity you enjoy more than wrangling chaos.
- Motivated is your middle name. You have a high sense of urgency and an innate ability to prioritize; juggling competing concerns is how you bring value.
- You hop out of bed ready to tackle a mountain. You are energized by the fact that needs might change and that duties and assignments will evolve. You thrive when you are providing services within constraints.
- You’re a futurist. You’re comfortable suggesting alternative modes of implementation if you think it will provide a better team and client experience.
- In it to win it. You take on tasks, identify the important details, and get them done daily.
- Follow-through on commitments. Lives up to verbal and written agreements. You are proactive, detail oriented, consistent and confident.
- You talk good. Did you notice that terrible sentence? Your excellent written and verbal communication skills are exactly what we need.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You are the go-to. You will act as the central point of contact for all prospects and clients. Consistent follow up is not a problem for you because your goal is to generate a minimum of $3M in new revenue in the first 18 months.
- Networking. Love to meet new people? How about walking up to someone you don't know to create a conversation? You will build a network and maintain contact with clients and prospects in our industry by traveling to events and delivering Praxent's elevator pitch. To accomplish this goal, we expect you to generate four qualified leads each month.
- You generate leads like a pro. You will deliver the growth team 48 qualified leads partnering with the account executives to get access to decision-makers.
- Fintech expert. You will leverage existing industry knowledge and relationships that provide value to Praxent clients in sales engagements.
- Collaborate effectively with project leads to develop new opportunities with existing clients and solicit introductions to other leaders within existing client organizations.
- Translate all background gathered during prospecting to the Delivery team to ensure discovery meeting is productive.
