Position Summary

We are looking for a high-performing sales director to drive revenue growth for the company. Successful execution of sales strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. The ideal candidate will be a driving force (โ€œHunterโ€ sales persona) in the success of the companyโ€™s goals and objectives through achieving and exceeding individual sales quota. This role has a base + variable compensation structure.ย 

Duties & Responsibilities:

ยท Develop key sales growth strategies, tactics, and action plans.

ยท Identify target customers.

ยท Articulate the value proposition of the product to prospective customers.

ยท Assess customer requirements and represent needs to product team.

ยท Attend trade shows and conferences to spread brand awareness and identify customers.

Requirements & Skills:

ยท Seven to ten years of demonstrated successful experience in Enterprise B2B software sales with proven history of being a top performer in a company for multiple years running.

ยท Industry experience and a network of connections in the small/medium biotech, biotech research institutes, and/or large pharma/biotech industries.

ยท Capable of becoming proficient in our product and technology solution, including the ability to conduct high level product demonstrations.

ยท Demonstrated success in developing, growing, and managing a robust sales pipeline.

ยท Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

ยท Experience negotiating complex purchase agreements.

ยท Demonstrable experience developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.

ยท Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and to position products against competitors.

ยท Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant business, technical, or professional field of study.

ยท Hands-on, action-oriented, and client-focused to drive for results and deliver on new business growth goals and win rates.

ยท Executive presence and strong communication skills.

ยท Demonstrated capability to build and sustain customer intimacy at the highest levels.

ยท Sound business judgment and strong operational acumen.

ยท Adherence to a high standard of personal integrity - Must be direct and transparent.

ยท High sense of urgency, positive outlook.

ยท Strong interpersonal skills including ability to actively listen, read audiences, and quickly identify key issues and areas of need.

ยท Excellent writing and public speaking skills, including strong presentation and proposal writing capabilities.

ยท Driven, astute, attentive to detail, credible, and dedicated to strategizing and producing work of the highest caliber.

ยท Confidence and experience dealing with senior executives; ability to work effectively in fast-paced, time sensitive, and often multi-tasking environment.

ยท Must be willing to travel up to 40%.
